Today marks the final day of Bird’s Eye View Festival 2013: Celebrating Arab Women Filmmakers.
During the past week, the event has seen the screening of productions at the BFI Southbank, Barbican, ICA & Hackney Picturehouse alongside director Q&As, panel talks and a special Fashion Loves Film event.
Expect to see flicks such as Habibi (Darling, Something’s Wrong With Your Head) by Susan Youssef, the first feature set in Gaza for over 15 years and a modern-day depiction of the Israeli-Palenstinian conflict, plus the week’s award winners for best feature, documentary and emerging talent as part of the ceremony’s closing night gala.
