Fendi opens summertime café in London

22.07.2019 | Blog , Fashion | BY:

This summer, Italian fashion house Fendi has joined forces with luxury department store Harrods in London, on the embarkment of an exclusive  dining experience.

From July 1st to August 31st, the fashion house has taken over the fifth floor of Harrods and transformed it into a conceptual cafe with the help of LA based visual artist Joshua Vides who re-designs the space according his signature “Reality to Idea” style. As he covers the building’s inside in his unique black and white graphic, while reimagining the iconic double FF logo in monochrome, artist creates an expression of Fendi’s instinct sense of humour and ingenuity.  The  double FF logo takes centre-stage in the cafe from on walls, to tables, menus , cups, saucers, down to the menu with Fendi logged cappuccinos. The menu is also very important as it gives diners a special taste of genuine Italian cuisine within the hearts of London.

Prada’s Pasticceria Marchesi opens in London

29.05.2019 | Blog , Fashion | BY:

Yesterday Italian fashion house Prada opened the doors to their Marchesi 1824 store in Central London. The pastry shop,  the first of it’s kind outside of Milan,  replicates the scenery of it’s Italian location. The Pasticceria Marchesi, founded in 1824, has overtime become one of Milan’s signature spots, known for its fine patisseries, chocolates and traditional Milanese panettone. This vision of traditional elegance was channelled in it’s London location with elegant cherry furnishings and carefully restored tiling provided for the convenience of the enjoyment of the store’s wide selection of traditional Italian confectionery. The Pasticceria Marchesi is currently opened to the public and sits along Mount Street in Mayfair.

Burberry to open cafe in Regent Street store

24.03.2015 | Fashion | BY:

Best of British: this is an ethos that has always emanated from luxury brand Burberry. But it is now taking this one step further with the addition of a café, featuring an all-British menu from Rocket Food. The café is already under construction in its 121 Regent Street store. While a restaurant belonging to a major design house isn’t new (see Armani, Ralph Lauren and Bulgari), Burberry’s space will have the edge thanks to its plans for a gifting area.
