For fall, Issue 17 took a closer look at the expectations and realities of self-reflection. We met the young, African artist Kudzanai-Violet Hwami on the eve of her inaugural solo show, and discussed shedding the weight of self-doubt in order to soar. Elsewhere, sisters Nancy and Lotte Andersen discussed their shared childhood and creative pursuits, while actress Joanne Froggatt questioned the limitations facing woman who dare to age on screen. Patrick Demarchelier took us behind the scenes at the Musée du Louvre exclusively for Louis Vuitton, before we embarked on a Californian road trip with Chanel. Meanwhile, as Browns East — the latest bricks and mortar retail innovation to hit London — opened, we discussed the vital fostering of raw talent with Browns CEO Holli Rogers and Farfetch’s Chief Consultant of Augmented Retail Susanne Tide-Frater. Speaking of raw talent, musician Cosima revealed her most uncomfortable self under the lens of Francesca Allen, while model and artist Larissa Hofmann turned the camera on herself for a self portrait redux. Here’s looking at you, kid.

Four beautiful and talented women from around the globe have teamed up with AQUAZZURA to create a new capsule collection. Launching exclusively on Farfetch, Holli Rogers, Claire Distenfeld, Pascaline Smets and Princess Deena Al-Juhani Abdulaziz – all owners of luxury boutiques – have lent their unique eyes to the designs, creating 7 new styles with founder of AQUAZZURA, Edgardo Osorio.
Osorio commented: “Over the years I have developed a very special relationship with each of the collaborators – some of them have been wearing AQUAZZURA since the very start of the brand. They each have a truly unique and personal style, and it was very interesting for me to work together to create something special that felt very much like them. I also love that these four have completely different personalities and tastes, yet they all have strong characters and an amazing fashion sense.”
Styles include statement suede boots, gold platforms and staple stilettos with multi-coloured detail. Available online now, the collection drops just in time for party season.

Last year Farfetch started its SUPERSTORE initiative to find the best new independent boutique, and now in its second year their search took them all the way to Wadi Bunder, Mumbai. In an attempt to support the growth and creativity of these international fashion destinations, Farfetch gives the winning store a chance to promote themselves to a global fashion audience. Le Mill was once a rice mill, but now the space carries contemporary and internatonal designers such as The Row, Peter Pilotto and Isabel Marant, as well as resident Indian designers such as Sabyasachi and Pero.
Farfetch carefully curates pieces from different concept stores and boutiques from Europe and the US, Le Mill is the first Indian store to join their network. To celebrate, Le Mill worked closely with emerging designers from India to produce a range of exclusive collections which are now available online at Farfetch. Farfetch created a Bollywood inspired fashion film for the occasion.
