FEATHERS, the female four-piece from Austin Texas are starting off 2014 by releasing a new EP. Out on Monday 13th January, Only One will feature new tracks Wild Love and The Only One, as well as never heard before remixes of Believe and Familiar So Strange, both of which were originally released on the band’s debut album If All Here Now. A Twin favourite, FEATHERS atmospheric synth sound translates beautifully onstage with front-woman Anastasia Dimou’s mesmerising stage presence. With their European tour, supporting Depeche Mode, they will be heading to the UK at the end of January and have planned a headlinning gig at Birthday’s February 1st, giving you plenty of chances to see them live.

This week marked the release of If All Now Here, the debut LP from Feathers. The girl band from Austin performed last Thursday at The Old Blue Last, giving a hypnotic performance. Undeniably cool, these girls play powerful electronic pop ballads. Anastasia Dimou’s alluring stage presence and ethereal voice created a certain other-worldly ambiance, one that the girls manage to combine with a pop sensibility.
